The Battleground Trust has completed the critical purchase of 1.58-acres at Fort Johnson. This will be the first property in Fort Johnson to be preserved and its amazing history interpreted to the public. Though small, this target property is in the footprint of the first fort constructed in 1708, the tabby Revolutionary War fort, and the earthwork fortifications of the civil War.
