Garrison Marcoux graduated with a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of South Carolina in 2021. Joining the staff of the SCBPT later that year, he has since been involved in many of the Trust’s projects, including the Liberty Trail App & transcribing the South Carolina Loyalist Claims. From Gaffney, South Carolina, Garrison strongly believes that preserving and interpreting the state’s history is vital to understanding — and taking pride in — what it means to be a South Carolinian and an American.
